Back in 1964, William (Guglielmo) Coco formed L&G Coco Construction which constructed
concrete curbs, municipal roads and highways primarily in the Windsor-Essex County
area. Recognized for quality work and competitive pricing, business flourished.
In the mid 1980’s, Mr. Coco elected to pursue larger and more challenging construction
projects.
Experience and constant hard work provided the ingredients that expanded the Coco
family into heavy construction.
In 1984, Coco Paving Inc. was introduced to the marketplace as a family owned and
operated company that gained its preliminary success from Mr. Coco’s established
reputation for quality construction.
After a major capital investment was made to build a modern asphalt production facility,
Coco Paving became recognized as a prominent paving contractor by successfully acquiring
many municipal and private sector contracts in Windsor and throughout South Western
Ontario.
When Mr. Coco’s son, Rock Anthony Coco, P.Eng., completed his academic studies,
Coco Paving further expanded their business into engineering and the construction
of sewer and watermain projects.
Soon thereafter, Mr.Coco’s daughter, Jenny Coco, MBA, graduated and joined the family
business bringing with her professional financial and administrative qualities that
provided Coco Paving with more expertise. Jenny Coco directed her abilities towards
financing, office administration, land acquisition and real estate development.
